The aim for such protection is to encourage the inventors and creators for flow of creativity for economic development. Protection to creators is a reward for their hard work and creativity. The creations involved in the field of intellectual property are inventions, literary works, artistic work, logos ,designs etc. Every branch in the Intellectual Property is governed by specific acts. The discipline also discusses international agreements formed for protection of novel creations such as TRIPS, Paris Convention, Berne Convention, Vienna Convention. The discipline is of growing nature and witnesses several developments in the form of amendments in all the branches . Each branch of Intellectual property has its distinct rules in cases of infringement and its remedies. The subject provides for remedies in all the three forms - Civil Remedies, Criminal Remedies and Administrative Remedies.
